🏆 Tomatt2 def. FairwayEngineer · 3&2 · Round of 64 · Ubsey Golf Par 3 Shootout
Tomatt2 took control late at Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure - Bald Mountain, closing out FairwayEngineer 3&2 in a Round of 64 battle at the Ubsey Golf Par 3 Shootout that stayed tight for most of its 16 holes. The front nine was a grind, with seven halves and just two holes claimed by Tomatt2, while FairwayEngineer couldn't find a win all day on that side. The back nine loosened up, with both sides trading holes before Tomatt2 reeled off wins on 15 and 16 to close the door.
The finish was decisive, with Tomatt2 taking both of the final two holes played to seal the 3&2 win. Tomatt2 advances to the Round of 32, while FairwayEngineer drops to the losers bracket and is still alive in the tournament. Fittingly, 59 percent of the field had Tomatt2 picked to win this one.
