🏆 crushinit def. UBSEY · 3&2 · Round of 64 · Ubsey Golf Par 3 Shootout
CrushGolf wound up a Round of 64 match against Ubsey at Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure - Bald Mountain, closing it out 3&2. Only 6 percent of the field picked CrushGolf to win, but the front nine told a different story as CrushGolf jumped out front and never let go, going wire to wire. A two hole run from holes 5 through 6 padded the lead, and though Ubsey clawed one back on 7 and again on 14, CrushGolf kept answering just enough to stay in control.
The back nine turned into a grind, five of those nine holes were halved, but CrushGolf had banked enough of a cushion to withstand it. The match wrapped up on hole 16, with CrushGolf finishing 1 up and 1 halved over the final three holes played. CrushGolf advances to the Round of 32, while Ubsey drops to the losers bracket and is still alive in the tournament.
