🏆 MD Golfs def. YetiG08 · 2 up · Winners Round 2 · Ubsey Golf Par 3 Shootout
MDGolfs ground out a tense, grinding win over YetiG08 in Winners Round 2 of the Ubsey Golf Par 3 Shootout, closing it out 2 up at The Foundry Golf Club. This one was a stalemate for long stretches, twelve of eighteen holes were halved, and YetiG08 even grabbed a brief edge after four. But MDGolfs steadied things with a run from 12 through 13 to seize control, then survived the closing stretch, winning one and halving two of the final three holes to seal it on 18. Remarkably, not a single pick favored MDGolfs heading in.
MDGolfs now advances to Winners Round 3 to keep chasing the field. YetiG08 will not go away quietly, dropping to the losers bracket but remaining very much alive in the tournament. With this kind of back and forth battle, a rematch somewhere down the road would be no surprise.
