🏆 Eric def. Mike · 23rd hole · Winners Round 3 · Ubsey Golf Par 3 Shootout
ZonaEJ83 needed every bit of Sky Valley Country Club to put away DarylDoylson in the Ubsey Golf Par 3 Shootout, closing it out on the 23rd hole after a grinding extra holes battle in Winners Round 3. DarylDoylson actually grabbed an early 2 holes down edge through 3, but ZonaEJ83 answered with a four hole run from 4 through 7 to seize control. The back nine tightened right back up, with four holes halved and the match knotted deep into extra holes before ZonaEJ83 finally broke through. 73 percent of the 15 pick'em voters saw this one coming.
The front nine produced 7 holes won combined with only 2 halved, but the back nine and extra holes turned into a defensive slog, with 10 total holes halved on the day. ZonaEJ83 advances to the Winners Quarterfinal, while DarylDoylson drops to the losers bracket and is still alive in the tournament.
