🏆 Triple Bogey def. Eric · 19th hole · Quarterfinal · Ubsey Golf Par 3 Shootout
trplbgy needed every one of nineteen holes to put away ZonaEJ83 in the Winners Quarterfinal at Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure - Apple Valley, and even that wasn't enough until the match spilled into a 19th. Ten holes were halved along the way, the two traded blows down the stretch, with ZonaEJ83 ripping off back to back wins on 17 and 18 to force the extra hole before trplbgy finally closed it out on 19. Eighty percent of the 15 pickers saw this coming and backed trplbgy.
The win sends trplbgy into the Winners Semifinal riding that wire to wire push. ZonaEJ83 will have to regroup in the losers bracket, but the tournament run is still very much alive after a match that went the distance and then some.
