Tom Snydeboom put together a strong all around performance to knock off Bible Thumpers 5&4 in the Round of 32 at Perry Park Country Club. After dropping the opening hole, Tom Snydeboom answered right back to even things up and never let Bible Thumpers get comfortable, trading blows through a front nine that saw four wins against two losses and three halves. The back nine was where the match tilted firmly in their favor, reeling off three wins with a run from hole 9 through hole 10 that put real distance on the scoreboard.
The match wrapped up after 14 holes, with Tom Snydeboom closing the door 5&4 and advancing to the Round of 16. Bible Thumpers drops to the losers bracket but is still alive in the tournament. The pick'em field was split right down the middle on this one, and Tom Snydeboom made good on the coin flip.
