The biggest story out of the 2026 Fall Classic this week was Stalc Chubs taking down Tom Danger in the Semifinal, 5&3, with only 33 percent of the pick'em crowd on the winner. That's a real upset, and it sends Stalc Chubs into the Final while Tom Danger's run comes to a close after a solid Quarterfinal win over Doylson's Law that the clubhouse saw coming at 82 percent.
On the other side of the bracket, Gorilla Gypsy handled Barber's Ida 4&3 in the other Semifinal, a match that split the room close to evenly at 47 percent. That sets up Gorilla Gypsy against Stalc Chubs for the Final, a pairing nobody had penciled in a week ago.
Down in the losers bracket, Zone Bag had the week of anyone left in the field, knocking off Squat Sticks 2 up and then Gropper Upper 1 up to keep rolling. Singing Sticks pulled the week's other surprise, beating Rush Hour 3&2 as just 38 percent of pick'em backed them. Yaks and Whiskey and Mart's Hybrid also picked up wins, over Adam's Gamble and Rob's Caddy respectively. With 13 of 32 teams still alive in the tournament, the path to the Final keeps narrowing.
