The BenQ AW30ST is a purpose-built golf simulator projector that replaces the popular LH600ST with enhanced brightness and versatility. Its short-throw design and 100% offset eliminate shadows in the hitting zone while supporting displays up to 170 inches. With 3,200 lumens of LED brightness and WXGA resolution, it delivers clear images for golf simulation at an accessible price point under $1,200.

Why people buy

3,200 ANSI lumens lights impact screens in ambient light
0.72-0.87:1 short throw fits tight sim rooms
Sits behind the golfer - 100% offset, no ceiling mount
20,000-hour LED - zero lamp swaps or filters

Trade-offs

• WXGA (1280x800) - lacks 1080p/4K detail
• 33.4 ms lag - fine for golf, mediocre for fast gaming
• No lens shift - zoom + keystone alignment only
• 16:10 native; square sim screens need masking
The fine print
No lens shift - placement must be exact; keystone correction softens an already-WXGA image, so square the projector up physically instead.
