From the MSS study: what the sensor measures, what it costs to run, and what it needs from the room.
Purpose-built golf-sim laser, bright, durable, simple install for dedicated 1080p bays
Why people buy
4,000 ANSI lumens powers bright sim screens in lit rooms
Laser source rated 20,000 hrs, zero lamp swaps
0.69-0.83:1 short throw fits tight golf bays
16.7 ms lag at 1080p/120Hz for responsive sim play
Trade-offs
No lens shift, placement must match fixed offset
1080p only; no 4K at this $2,299 price
Lag doubles to 33.4 ms with 60Hz sources
32 dB normal-mode fan is audible in quiet bays
The fine print
No lens shift: image lands at a fixed ~102.5% full-height offset, so ceiling-mount height and centering must be exact; leaning on 2D keystone to fix placement softens the picture.Specifications
