From the MSS study: what the sensor measures, what it costs to run, and what it needs from the room.

8500 lumens crushes ambient light on big impact screens
True 4K UHD, 30,000-hr DuraCore laser, zero lamp swaps
0.65-0.75:1 short throw fits tight sim rooms
Motorized zoom + real V/H lens shift ease ceiling installs
Trade-offs
~$15k pro-install price tag
No published input lag spec
38 dB fan noise in normal mode
31.5 lb chassis; no wireless networking
The fine print
Input lag unpublished, sibling ZK810T measured 21.7 ms (1080p, ProjectorCentral); verify the TST before buying for sim play. Shift specs conflict: Optoma +/-55V/+/-25H vs ProjectorCentral +/-50V/+/-18H.Specifications
