Verified research

From the MSS study: what the sensor measures, what it costs to run, and what it needs from the room.

Best budget short-throw for compact home golf sims, bright, fast, zero-maintenance LED.

The MSS verdict

Why people buy

3000 ANSI lumens holds up on lit-room impact screens
0.69-0.83:1 short throw fits tight sim rooms
16.7ms input lag - swing-to-screen feels instant
4LED source: 20k+ hours, zero lamp upkeep

Trade-offs

No optical lens shift - placement must be exact
1080p only - no 4K detail on big sim screens
HDMI 1.4 inputs cap sources at 1080p/60
Keystone fallback costs image sharpness
The fine print
No lens shift: the fixed ~102.5% offset dictates exact ceiling-mount height and position. Light-source life is 20,000 hrs in normal mode, the 30,000-hr figure is ECO mode only.
