Sensor Technologyno cameras, no radar
Technology DetailPutting-ONLY stroke analyzer. Physically senses the PUTTER, not the ball. A wireless "FlexTriplet" sensor (a triplet of ultrasound emitters/"senders") clips onto the putter shaft 25 cm (10 in) above the lower edge of the putter head.
Performance Data
Ball DataManufacturer (current PuttLab 8 page): "70+ putting parameters" measured; standard reports present the "28 most important" parameters. (Note: the older PL7 Quick Installation Guide text states "more than 50 important parameters", the 70+ figure is the current product-page claim.
Club Datameasured, putter/stroke metrics only. Includes face angle/aim (address, impact, through-stroke), putter path/direction, impact spot/location on face, rise, loft, lie, shaft angle, tempo/timing…
Compatibility
Sim Readiness and Software IncludedNative dedicated SAM PuttLab software (Windows only; Win 7/8/10/11, USB-connected BaseUnit).
Device / PC ReqsPC software only for analysis (Windows). The smartphone/tablet app is a REMOTE CONTROL for the PC (calibrate, start measurement/training, open reports), it does not run the analysis itself.
Subscription CostNo subscription required for the core software (perpetual license tied to the BaseUnit via a software key; internet recommended only for updates).
Special Balls/MarkersNONE. No marked balls, no metallic spin stickers, no proprietary balls. The system tracks the putter via the shaft-clipped ultrasonic sensor, not the ball; the install guide simply says to mark a spot and "Place a golf ball exactly on the…
